AIHA has launched a new platform for the digital Synergist that integrates with AIHA.org. To access the new platform, members will need to enter their AIHA.org username and password.

Sometimes new technology doesn’t work perfectly the first few times we try it. So, if you’ve entered your credentials but still can’t access the digital Synergist, please try the following suggestions:

  1. Ensure you’re using the right credentials. This may seem too obvious to mention, but while testing the new site, even Synergist staff occasionally used the wrong combinations. Remember, your AIHA.org username might—or might not—be an email address. Also, if you use a password manager or store your passwords in your browser, please double-check that the credentials saved for AIHA.org are correct.
  2. Try opening the site (https://synergist.aiha.org) in an “incognito” or “private” browser window or tab. Incognito and private windows bypass certain browser settings. If the digital Synergist works in a private tab but not a regular tab, browser settings will be the first thing we want to check.
  3. Clear your cache and cookies. Volunteers who had trouble initially accessing the new platform were successful after they cleared their browser cache and cookies. Here are links to instructions on how to do that in several common browsers:

  4. Update your browser. It’s possible that your browser is out of date.

AIHA's website offers a way for you to update your password if you can't remember it. Once you have your new password, please wait 24 hours before returning to the digital Synergist to try again.

If you’ve followed these steps but the login still isn’t working, thank you for trying! We know how frustrating that can be, and we may need to get some IT people on the case. At your convenience, please email the following information to Synergist editors:

  • the browsers and devices you’ve tried
  • a short description of what happens when you try to log in
  • if possible, screenshots are much appreciated
