AIHA is seeking nominations for four Board of Directors positions that will become available in June 2026.

  • 1 Vice President
  • 1 Secretary-Elect
  • 2 at-large Directors

The Board of Directors plays a critical role in the Association, serving as the "face" of AIHA. It establishes the organization’s strategic direction and goals and monitors progress towards achieving those goals on behalf of the membership. The Board meets face-to-face four times a year, typically in late February; on the Sunday before and the late afternoon Wednesday after the AIHA Connect conference; in July; and in November. Additionally, a conference call is scheduled in mid-December to ratify the Board candidate recommendations from the Nominating Committee. Additional conference calls may be scheduled as needed.

According to AIHA Bylaws, "Only Full members who meet the criteria for Board service shall be eligible to serve as officers of the Association." Members may self-nominate or be nominated by a peer. Nominators must be voting members (Full, Emeritus, or International Members).
