OEHS professionals are entrusted with ensuring the health and safety of workers and the public. That higher calling requires attention to not only the appearance of ethical behavior but an actual commitment to it. With the growth of AI tools and an increasing distrust of science by some this obligation becomes even more important. This webinar will focus on fundamental ethical principles and how they apply to these issues. It will include details on ethical use of AI tools. A new algorithm for evaluating ethics cases will also be presented.

Learning Objectives

After this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Engage with science skeptics constructively and positively.
  • Comprehend the ethical application of AI tools and metrics.
  • Describe methods to recognize and manage personal biases.
  • Implement a new ethics algorithm effectively.
